About Bhojpara Kutiyali Unnayan Samity

Founded in 2002 in rural West Bengal, Bhojpara Kutiyali Unnayan Samity is a non-profit, apolitical organisation committed to working at the grassroots level, uplifting lives and nurturing hope in every corner of our community. Rooted in the heart of Bhojpara, we have been working for about two decades with underserved communities to build pathways toward dignity, opportunity, and resilience. Our mission is to stand with people in times of need, while also investing in their long-term growth. Through consistent grassroots efforts, we nurture self-reliance, create opportunities for youth and women, and address the challenges of poverty, exclusion, and underdevelopment. Driven by local leadership and supported by a dedicated network of volunteers and well-wishers, we aim to create a society where every individual—regardless of background—can live with dignity, contribute meaningfully, and thrive.
